what a week . rego the bus that hasn't been on the road for 5 yrs . no one wants to insure it so had to join the motor home club and go through them

. then flat spots on the tyres so new rubber on the front then the trailer lights didn't work so more head F##ks

then not happy with the tyres on the trailer so took the fronts of the bucket to use .... and then

every thing that could go wrong did tonight , the last straw was the winch shit it self . got it on , hopefully there's enough muscle to help push it back on

and i couldn't even swear as the grand kids were here

going to have to prepare myself better in the future

Just to finish up this thread . was a great weekend and what a great bunch of guys . them old drag racers sure can drink some piss .

and thanks Tony retroboy and his old drag race mate and pit crew Chris . wouldn't have got on the track with out their help

i sent some videos to a few on my list including your dad dont know if he could open it , as some replied they couldn't so here some more

as planed the first run was slow to get the feel

the 2nd against shes ace and 3rd with Turtle

bettered my time by a second each run the best being 8.6 . but i was backing off about 50 mts before the finish line as the braking area had me worried

good thing is i have time to think what i did wrong and what i need to do next time

and to be honest it was all a blur and i couldn't see the finish line . cant wait for it to happen all over again . WHAT A BUZZ

hope the videos work this time
