HOTROD STOLEN IN PERTH
Hi everyone,
just got news that one of our west oz rodder's has had his pride and joy stolen.
could I ask all the blokes on the east to keep an eye out for this car (or parts there-of).
Please pass the details around by email, FB, My face etc...
Details from the email are:
HOT ROD Stolen from Carousel Shopping area this week.
Keep your eyes out for Sam Attard’s unique 41 Willys Pick up.
It is so different, it could be expected to be pulled down for parts only.. Blown SB Chevy etc.
If you have any info call Sam on 0450 2585 48 or the police.

Re: HOTROD STOLEN IN PERTH
Does anyone have a good tracking system fitted to their rod or have recommendations on which systems work well?
Short of fitting an alarm, steering wheel lock or removing your rotor button what else can make it more difficult for someone to steal and easier to recover.

I used to install these
http://www.quiktrak.com.au
They are pretty good systems, and will reduce your insurance costs as well.

In this instance tracking would be the only avenue as I believe it may have been picked up on a tilt tray.

Those countries do not have the social welfare systems that we have.Mark Saunders wrote:In less civilised countries, they cut thieves hands off .............. that tends to workMeeksie wrote: what else can make it more difficult for someone to steal.
In this case the bludger would end up being supported by us.Or having Medicare fund a prosthesis .

Look how much work is in that truck. The more details supplied here the better I suppose- running gear etc. Is it red painted parts to look out for?
