Tangerine Dream ended up with a WB Statesman front and Sam Ivanac bought it from John. He also bought Steve Abbotts Van Rat and took the Big Block and the rest of the running gear out of the Rat and put it in Tangerine Dream.

I missed the great years of vanning, but your right Magnum, it was a different time but it looked like a lot of fun! :D The vans were awesome and showed some real creativity and imagination. And they went to a lot of trouble displaying them, Ive seen some of the display get ups in old photos and mags and some were pretty wild. Mark Course even had an island and a shark at one show!

This FE van was owned by a friend of mine Greg Gleeson when I met him in the early eighties he bought it before he got his licence and still owns it now.
It has been rebuilt but still looks the same except it now has a 427 Big Block Chev, mini tubs and the ugly looking windows in the back have been removed. Very cool car and legally registered in NSW with the Big Block.

I need to find that movie, looks like a real scream! That poor Jag is stuffed though, puts out more smoke than a steam train!

The other movie I want to find is the 87 movie "Ground Zero" It's a fantastic movie.
