when i had my 36cpe in 1960 guys i went to school with had a channeled 36 with boot leaded in was in primer dont know what happened to it

I think I remember this car and am going back through what's left of my old Custom Rodder mags.

Found a pic of a purple 36 with a Y block but I don't think its the same one.

mike doesnt know but the one in pic could have been the one i mentioned my schoolmates had in 50.s with leaded boot and in primer and was channeled I had a 36 coupe at the same time i built i bought it off a guy in footscray that raced at speedway and had a wrecking yard Jimmy Miller was his name his yard had heaps od old fords in it

I bought this '36 coupe from Red Hill Vic., back when everything was black and white, apart from the obvious modification
it also had the boot lid welded shut.

There is/was a purple ol' timey 60's style 36 5W cruzin' around in S.A., think it had a 32 shell out front. Came up to Parklands for the Nats years back.
