Been real busy with other jobs but got a chance to do some work now. Exhaust time, second exhaust I have made for a car.
Just need o² bung installed

Underneath to the muffler.
Muffler going on.
Threading the needle at the back and rear mount.
Muffler and cat come from Roadstar Auto parts and stainless come from Sterlings Stainless.
Muffler $59
V Band clamp $30
4 x bends $108
Cat $69
Pipe $83
Rubber mount $20
Total cost $2758

I know I am quiet and I am sorry but I always seem to do too much but here we go, I decided to put my car on the lift for a while and concentrate on it. Started at the back
Welded some threaded crush tubes into the chassis and made a rear bumper/ towbar for it. Not a super heavy duty but will tow a trailer no problems. Box section is 4mm and had it laying around.
Brake lines sorted. XH falcon master cylinder from the donor car.
Side plates for bumper mounts $30
Bundy tube for brake lines $21
Brake rubber hose and fittings $75
Cost $2884

I have not been looking forward to make a fuel tank. I basically got some cardboard and got under the car, measured and tape in till I had a tank then took it out, made sure it went in and out with out needing to dismantle the car the cut the tape and folded up some steel to make the tank. This car has minimal real estate so it is a weird shape.
Before people start commenting on the filler location it is copied from a Hiace van which I own and wrecked one for the diff a while ago. The secret to filling is the large breather lines.

The hole I cut in the back which turned out to be a mistake and the mount which got welded to the floor. A circle cut on an angle makes an oval not a square hole with a rounded top.
Neck mounted just needs a toyota grommet to seal to the body.
The top bit I made which I come up with after looking at the standard type jeep one used back then just a bit smaller. The cap is from the Hiace van I run.
Tank being pressure tested, there was 7 pin holes to sort out.
Fuel filler and large breather modified to suit.
Bit of fill hose to make it work.
Fill hose $14
Tank steel $35
AN fittings on tank $18
Cost $2951

Fuel pump $80 sold to me as a genuine Bosch but the was fake. I will see how it goes.

I have built a hydraulic water boring machine which fits through a standard door out of spite and there is a kubota tractor which showed up cheap which needed some hours to turn a decent profit, a dilapidated antique windmill the commissioner of war and finance got for me for a present which needed restoring/repairing. There is also the plethora of small machining and welding jobs which never stops for random people who have found where I live. It never ends but I would not have it any other way. Keeps me off the streets.
