I can't see anything in the original post. Has it been deleted or am I struggling again?

Cool. Remember those flyers being taped in daily driver windows as adverts leading up to street meets.

Re: My bit of castlereigh history
I was at Castlereagh the day Ash Marshall ran the first 200MPH pass by an Aussie. I think he did 8.02sces.
First time at the drags and I was blown away.
A couple of years later I used to ride my push bike 80k's to the strip then sleep on the ground at the picnic area at the end of Hinxman Road then ride home.
Not sure I'd sleep there nowadays. My parents must have had rocks in their heads!

Crikey Zuffen. That beats my " walking from Guildford to Westmead speedway" story. I thought I was keen !
We only ever drove to Castlereagh, either as passengers or, eventually, in our own cars. You took your life in your hands along Hinxman Road after a
meeting with all the Ash Marshall wannabes..![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)

It's funny if my Boys had suggested such a venture (they are in their early 20's) when they were 15 they would have received a flat NO!
I will say it hot as hell ridding along Castlereagh Road in Summer.
And in the 48 years since I did that I've never been back to the Drags as a spectator.
