"Jumping Jack Flash" a big block FJ gasser!

Post by Hot-Rod Dude »

Hi there, my self, my brother and a good mate, in the early 80's used to briefly own an FJ gasser called Jumping Jack Flash. When we had it, it had no engine, but it had "427" sign written on the bonnet or guard etc. The car also had "Steve Langham" written on it. I also remember blue acrylic windows in it etc. Real cool stuff. I wonder where it is now, and what's happening to it? Does any one remember it and better still, can anyone post photos of it in it's hey day?? Thanks Geoff.

Im pretty sure Lenny Leonard owned it at some stage and im sure he told me it ended up in Qld

From Ross Preen / That car was built in Orange NSW by Steve Langham, I think it only ran once. It did have a BBC in it

no idea what happened to it though

Lenny told me he bought it from a guy in the Adelaide Hills

He had it in storage and the guy was lowering it from 3 high and dropped it on it's roof

It ended up at Sims Metal

Lenny said he will look for pics of it he has

O boy, that's not the nice ending of this story that I was hoping for. Thanks for asking, hopefully a photo or two will still emerge so we can remember it as it was in its glory. Cheers, Geoff.
