EFI Windsors

Post by big woody »

Hi Everyone
Looking for some advice from the Ford experts.
I have the opportunity to purchase an EFI Windsor, but which one?
Should I be using the EL XR8 or the AU Windsor. Both are similar price and condition but is either better than the other?
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers

The EL has a distributor whereas the AU doesn't run a distributor.... Wondered if either were considered to be better than the other, especially if it comes to internal mods.

The late el motors are 185kw same as early AU , the later AU are up to 200kw think they came in the xr8 or te50 there was also a 220kw version
