Mustang HO engine
Me again ,the other option I have for an engine is a HO 5 ltr mustang engine with a ADO non computer 4 speed auto ,I am thinking I could convert this back to carb as it has no computer with it or I could buy a computer and loom for it and run the EFI only need to put a high pressure fuel pump in the tank and return line ,,if I go carb what dizzy can I use ,seems that some people have used the original and it works ok if you just hook it up to the ignition

Re: Mustang HO engine
I fitted an OZ fuel injected 302w to Black Bess and ran a carby & manifold, I used the original dizzy. Ran great, didn't even touch the timing. Mated a rebuilt c6 auto to it, had no probs at all

Re: Mustang HO engine
We fitted a 302 AU XR8 EFI motor n computer controlled BTR Auto 4 speed box to my F100.
Bought an XR8 used the ECM , engine harness..and a J3 Chip to run it,..used everything fron the radiator n fans back,...including engine n box
Easy with a J3 Chip.. Chip defeated security ...I used a XG Falcon Ute tank with intank pump...plumbed a fuel line n return
BTR runs just needs a good speed signal,...check with Chocko ...hes up to speed on all thsi stuff,...But Chip guy told me to make sure the ECM and the harness all are the same,.....little bugs will creep into things
