Thanks for the comments and tips guys , still have the drivers door to get back and paint also the sun visor to paint and a few rear suspension bushes to replace and then just some small jobs and it’s done . Looks a little bit different to before I started , an old pic so actually looks ok here

This incarnation looks much better, Ratty, the two colours compliment, not clash, each other. Very fast tidy up!! 8) 8) 8)

Look what I found under the battery box , nothing ....... because it’s all rusted away . The last patch that needs to be done .

Love the checker plate next to the rusted out crap.Just make it out of checker plate and will last for ever :lol: :wink:

Not much happening on the ute at the moment. Blacked out the top of the grill bars and gave the tub a bit of a clean and coat of por15

And made a garage tent for the valiant , sick of keeping the black paint clean already, at least this will keep the dust to a minimum. Some bedsheets , rope and pulleys so with a pull on the rope the sides come up for drive in access

Paint and body all done , maybe engine freshen up next , but not too soon . Wasn’t sure on Jets color selection at first but the end result does look good , a slight improvement on before :D
