Hi guys I’m the planning stage of my build

I have a 37 ford 1-1/2 truck

just looking for idea’s I’m going to build some like this. Now my start base is a 37 ford 1-1/2t truck and chassis I’m going to run BA-BF ford falcon suspension now my idea is to run front f350 bearing assembly on the falcon spindle just wondering if anyone has done this

hi mate sounds like a good plan. I have an international that I am using a ba aa the donor car so will be using the suspension too.
I assume you want to run the f350 hubs for the bolt patter ?

Yeah mate going to run f350 diff just looking to sort out the front end

may want to speak with an engineer as the track and diameter may be a significant increase over stock.

this looks cool! I have a few comments you might want to consider first, though.

1) the BA/BF falcon front suspension has upper A arms that are very high and will require a fair amount of fabrication to retrofit to the chassis.

They are known to get in the way of larger tyres for falcons as is, if you're wanting to run 12-stud hubs and tyres these will likely rule out this option.

2) the BA/BF rear cradle and suspension setup wont give you the ability to run duallys. The bearing and pinion load will exceed the design's original load rating.

Have you thought about just building a modified commercial chassis under VSB6? They're not subject to the same considerations as a passenger vehicle or a street rod. With engineer's approval, you can shorten / lengthen / widen / narrow the chassis as much as you want as long as you follow the guidelines.

FWIW, I've found you can build the below using VSB6 for a commercial vehicle easier than you can with the street rod guidelines, especially if it's pre-ADR. A 2 ton truck becomes a half-ton truck and reduced GVM.

Jag front end and a F350 dually rear is the way to go . For the Jag you could get a custom hub manufactured to run the F350 pattern .

I was thinking jag front end in the first place but also
Getting harder to find why I was think BA Bf was using donor car as I was thinking of using other parts such as motor trans maybe seats
