The red grille emblem is a repro that I used to produce. They are quite labor intensive. I stopped making them about ten years ago.

I have a secret obsession with old tools, mostly Litchfield and Coxhead. Bought this Coxhead hacksaw recently. Heavily built, neatly chromed and knurled - beautiful piece of work.

How many of those "econometers" are around. I note the 1940 patent. Was it an after market accessory or Ford supplied. Work of art compared to the 2" vacuum gauge or "economy" gauge versions we got when blokes stuck brackets under dashboards for every cool gauge they liked.
