Very nice.
Always wondered how tiles hold up to direct grinder sparks and using axle stands, jacks etc?

I never make the same mistake twice, I do it 5 or 6 times just to be sure !!!

Well i was not happy with the front of the bonnet, so out with the grinder

Sort of looks like a big bonnet scoop :D

I agree that the curve didn't quite have the perfect shape so while it's at this stage cut it out.

Not many people would have the courage to cut out that much so I am looking forward to seeing what you do to smooth it all out

Well another day and another project,the water pump let go Saturday so it was time to bite the bullet and do the heart transplant

old one out, i have a new motor on the floor to go in and the gearbox leaks oil so everything out for a tidy up

Well finally got the new motor in , gearbox rebuilt now a problem with timing pointer, it is straight under the water pump. I think it has the wrong timing cover , anyway it goes.

Excellent that it is running. :)
Should be pretty easy to work out a new timing pointer after turning the engine over to TDC.

Vacuum gauge works just as well.
