Re: Bored with Ford - NON Ford Hot Rods (Chrome bumper back)
For those with a memory, I built a 37 Oldsmobile Sloper with a 396 BB Chev in 1977 and towed a 22 caravan as far north as Cape Tribulation in 78. A 9 month round trip covering 18,000 miles.
I found it again a couple of years ago in the shed of the bloke I sold it to:
My current project is a stretched 1934 Chrysler CB with a 6.1 Hemi:
More on that build here: http://muston.com/public_html/34%20Limo/A_34_Limo.html

I never make the same mistake twice, I do it 5 or 6 times just to be sure !!!

It would be great to see your Oldsmobile back on the road again, I remember seeing it pulling the van when I was working up the top and also seeing a pic of it in the Cairns paper, or maybe it was the Townsville paper.robtus wrote:For those with a memory, I built a 37 Oldsmobile Sloper with a 396 BB Chev in 1977 and towed a 22 caravan as far north as Cape Tribulation in 78.
