For those with a memory, I built a 37 Oldsmobile Sloper with a 396 BB Chev in 1977 and towed a 22 caravan as far north as Cape Tribulation in 78. A 9 month round trip covering 18,000 miles.
I found it again a couple of years ago in the shed of the bloke I sold it to:
My current project is a stretched 1934 Chrysler CB with a 6.1 Hemi:

It would be great to see your Oldsmobile back on the road again, I remember seeing it pulling the van when I was working up the top and also seeing a pic of it in the Cairns paper, or maybe it was the Townsville paper.

Good to see mopars getting a bit more recognition........I suppose after having the 40 Dodge for 47 years I'd get used to it........lol.......why, now even a Poly is sorta cool........I'd post a pic of the ol' brown turd if I could...........lol.............andyd
