Re: Rust Removal and Prep CITRIC ACID
Hi,
I have used citric acid to remove the rust from my Model A Ford panels with great results, but I have a question about the fuel tank, which is in good condition but does have a lot of surface rust that needs treating. However I am concerned about where the fuel cap is and other parts that seem to be soldered (or some other method). If I immerse the tank into the citric acid bath, will the citric affect these areas.
Appreciate any advice.
Thanks and regards

Don't think I will be immersing the tank in a citric solution and I will use some other process to deal with the surface rust.
Thanks and regards
