Harry, are you going to use that "Poly 313"?
Mudgy and Harry, very nice to see a few more Mopars on here.

I also noticed yours has boot hinges external mount. Maybe it's a '38 thing? dunno.
Waht I did notice though was on 37 jobs anyway; USA had external boot hinge, Aussie was internal. And US ones had a wind-out screen, and rear 1/4 windows hinged at a different spot to the Aus ones. There's probably some more differences, but I got no idea!
Yes the boot has been changed at some time and the external hinges are off a Mini the father inlaw done it with the v8 and disc brake front 30 odd yrs back

Mudgy the outside is "pure Mopar".
The engine choice is a "personal thing".
Probably a good choice anyway.
Good luck with it.

Re: Mudgy's 1937 Dodge Sedan
Well I've zapped all my bridging plates (chords?) in, and slapped a huge wallop of cold gal in there. I know some of it will come off when I plug weld the last side plate on, but at least the innards are protected as well as can be. I have 9 x boxing plates per side jammed in between the 2 x side (fish?) plates..
I suppose it will make sense after I can put up some damn pics!
I might stick the sway bar mounts on while I'm at it...

Thanks Mick. I will put off looking for a commy ATM, as our dollar has hit 1.07USD, I will contact The Plymouth Doctor in the US and get me some patch panels
but that makes me go into debt too; unfortunately.
Gotta strike while the iron's hot though I suppose....

OK so I have done the front graft; time to get out "the drawing board" and think about the rear now....
cardboard templates...
onto the real thing...
drilled the inner plates to plug weld the chords...
and away we go
sway bar mounts added now, too.
