This is Bonnie.
She was rescued from the shelter (2nd one from there for me) - had 10 puppies at 1 & 1/2 years of age. So the waterworks was damaged.....She gets
called "Mrs. Peeeebody from time to time - had the Vet try to fix the problem; they said, "when we opened her up, we saw lots of growths - don't get too attached - she's only got 3 months or so". (1st one was kelpie cross shepherd, got to 13 YO before the big C finished her - real smart dog god bless her).
Now she's 5 years old, when we visit the vet for check-ups, the Vet says "is this the same dog?"
Yep.
So either they got the prognosis VERY wrong
or it's true about what they say about a brown dog

I thought the chicken breast I had for lunch looked nicer. We obviously went to the wrong place Jeff.
I wish I could have a buddy like yours Andy I miss not being able to have a dog.

My garage buddy passed away early last year but as he was my constanst garage buddy for almost 15 years I still miss him wandering in to check on what it is im doing. He is burried beside the shed so he continues to keep an eye on what im doing to this day.

I can enter the yard and my buddy [ Female German Shep] will be all over me. Once the garage side door is being unlocked she backs off and needs coaxing. She will now enter ok on command or re assurance.
Definitely knows the evening closing of the front tilt a door is the cue to come inside the house .
I got her from the RSPCA and I suspect that she was once mistreated and locked in a shed. Used to run a mile when I picked up a spade / rake or similar implement . Now she gets in the way when I have the block splitter going.
Frank.
