Re: Garage buddies
Thanks Joe
The one part that sucks is I'm miles away from home.
I told the Mrs, "I'll bet you, when I'm away, the ol' mutt will drop off. " ( she wasn't travelling too flash on the weekend, either - the dog that is ! )
Every time I travel something happens at home where I'm needed. It pisses me off to no end. Still, the ol'brown dog had a damn good life at our joint. That's something no one can take away.
Mudgy.

Re: Garage buddies
Very sad Mudgy.
We have two ginger cats, Oggie and Colin.
Oggy was bought for us by our daughter and I found Colin on the side of the road in a place called Collingullie (N.S.W.) hence the name Colin.
Colin was a baby and had been dumped on the side of the road.
I was in my B-double and pulled over to check my tyres and found him in the gutter.
I bought a small can of cat food and gave him some water then took him home and he has been with us ever since.
Both our cats are very loyal loving animals and we love them.
Mick.

Good stuff.
A mans/womans best friend.
My Cocker Spaniel mate is always at me feet.
Unconditional love and always wagging their tails and happy to see their best mate.
We all could learn from these precious animals.

Re: Garage buddies
We used to have a Staffy next door, great friendly dog with adults and kids could do anything to him. "But" if he saw another dog would go ballistic to attack it. For some reason seems to be a common trait with them.

Re: Garage buddies
Hope your little buddy recovers well Andy. We had a Female German Shep that took a dislike to other female dogs for some reason if they got in her way on went out of place in the pecking order . Her name was "Bonnie" similar to Mudgy's dog. Lost her in 2014 at the age of 14 to cancer, our ginger moggy cat "Jimmy" had to be put down back in April at 18 and a half years old ,we noticed him losing weight and becoming lethargic, the cat and the dog were inseparable pals, growing up together ,the cat would snooze next to the dogs belly, after the dog went, the cat went funny for a day wandering around howling, and then somehow bonded with me, always waiting for me to sit down by jumping on a coffee table in front of my lounge chair, as soon as I was seated the cat propped onto my lap.
