Nice result. Congrats.
Looking at the plates ,the CPS scheme is really growing in Vic. Just looking at plates I have been issued . April 2015 in the 57,000,s . By Oct 2017 the number was in the 85,000,s . Then they ran out and went to the current format with what appears to be repeated blocks of numbers from 1 to 9.

Finally had a chance post lock down to take the car over to Olga the original owner to show her the transformation over the last 4 years . By chance she was out in her driveway when we came cruising down her street, the smile and facial expression told us that she knew it was her old car . After a good chat we took her out for a spin which she thought was great , and was extremely pleased at the end result .

That was a nice thing to do Ratty, I bet she said it looks better than when it was new.
You would have surely made her day.

Great stuff, Ratty. I'm sure the original owner will be very pleased.
Some people will source a vehicle and promise to restore it... but don't.

Hats off to you mate.

Cheers, Mudgy

Hi Ratty
Schultz here again ...

I hope your air intake for your vacuum cleaner positive air breathing system with the mask was well away from the Paint Booth and sucking clean, safe air ...

I expect you can extend the supply side with some big hose.

When I was diving I had 75 metres of hose.

And severe leg infections are not good.

I LIKE your work !

It was smiles all round . She had other opportunities to sell the car beforehand and wasn’t ready and didn’t like some people , we ticked all the boxes for her which made me happy and I think the look on her face when she saw it vindicated her decision

After 2 years of delays due to Covid we finally made it to Motorex . I was quite surprised to get a call to say I had won a stand out award in the real street area and had to drive up on stage . I even got Jet to wipe the car down with me , which was an even bigger surprise.
