Babbit to Slipper Bearing Conversion

Does anyone know of any engine reconditioning shop with experience in converting babbit bearings to slipper bearings.......ideally for 1928 Chrysler 6........for an acquaintance ......andyd

Chrisso.....many thanks, have passed the details on, hes been quoted $180 per bearing with 6 big ends and 7 mains thats 13 x 180.........$2340 just for bearings............yikes!!!........regards.............andyd

Orger engines do a classic rod, what about just getting new rods.

EGGE machining in Dookie NE vic would do if. They also do babbit.
Nothing is worth having, that isn't worth waiting for!
