Holden Engine
Does a 308 holden have the drop down on the sump at the rear or the front and is a Chev the same

Older ones do Monte, dunno about chev ones fitting.
I had to use an early model sump & pickup on mine to make the "deep end"at the back.
Commodores have deep end up front.

Different pans . to Chev. And the Commodore and Holden Kingys have the pans at different ends . Commodore front as Mudgy describes .
The auto boxes behind them ,at least Trimatic has the selector shafts either RH and LH . Commodore has LH side ..

Yeah I might just do that Mont. Take a few weeks to drive up,camp at your place in the teardrop
and go fishing with you.

Ht-g = mid sump
HQ to WB and torana = rear sump
Commodore = front sump
HQ to WB and torana = rear sump
