Heat Shielding
Wondering whats a good quality heat shielding that's pliable yet tough enough to withstand everyday country highway and dirt use.

Re: Heat Shielding
I used some sheet which looks like quilted aluminium, it is a sandwich type stuff, about 3mm thick, and can be worked like aluminum sheet. They use it around turbochargers, etc. This stuff - https://www.ebay.com.au/i/161390864732?chn=ps

Re: Heat Shielding
I use and recommend the same stuff.
Mine came out of the donor car (HSV GTS) and simply flattened out and re-shaped to what I needed.
You may think it expensive but it's great stuff and worth the cost.

Re: Heat Shielding
A lot of mates have used "Car Builders" stuff, Sound and Heat Deadener and continue to do so.
It works.
