I was just wondering what type of fuel injection you have and has it been running on that engine before?

The block is a .040 over 1968 429 Ford with a 460 crank. Heads are ported 1969 small chamber with bigger valves. The intake and fuel rails are Edelbrock. All the electronic stuff came off of my 94 F-350 crew cab (460 engine). I removed the computer and engine harness and sent it to "The 460 EFI Guys" in Wyoming. They ultrasonic cleaned it and took everything out of the harness that wasn't related to the fuel injection, and did whatever they do with the computer, and sent it back with a Holley throttle body.
I was originally planning on using a Fitech setup. I plan on this being my daily driver, and using it for trips across the country as well. I was concerned about being broke down in Podunk Who Knows Where, for a simple failed sensor, and not knowing what to ask for at the parts counter. I didn't want to depend on having only Fitech as a source for replacement parts. Now all the sensors, and plugs are for the same application (94 f-350), except the throttle position sensor. It is a Crown Victoria piece. I should be able to find consumable parts at any parts house or Ford dealer.
I'm using an E4OD trans. It has it's own stand alone programmable controller capable of holding four programs that can be selected at the turn of a knob.

Just a little update, to say I have nothing to report. It's supposed to be 105 degrees here today, and they are calling for highs of 100 or more all week. Since i had a stroke in 2016, I just can't take the heat any more, so I'm not getting anything done. I do try and check in here daily, and post periodically. Have a great day, everyone.

I’m mocking up the radiator and inner fenders, since we are having a few days of 80- something degree temps. It looks like I will have to remove the factory engine oil heat exchanger (cooler) as it positions the lower radiator hose too high and too far forward. I might alter the core support to allow me to move the radiator forward 3/4” as well, for more fan clearance. I like mechanical fans, for their simplicity, and I have the one that came off of the 93 F350 that supplied all the engine accessories and brackets. I guess I’m a cheap bastard, and don’t want to pay the 4-500 dollars for a pair of 12” electric fans and associated wiring.

Three and a half months since my last progress on the car... I've got to stop working on other people's cars and get something done on my own. :x :x

Just makes you refreshed when you get back to it and motivated to get more done. :)

I thought the factory Police interceptor manifolds were going to do the trick for me…. The driver’s side looks good, but the passenger side won’t work. I’m pretty disappointed. I may end up building a set of headers…. The search continues.
