scrap metal alloy engine parts?

I was wondering is it worth taking alloy heads , manifolds ect
to the scrap metal guys? also old power tools, I have plenty of dead soldiers.

They have to be all aluminium, no steel threaded studs etc. they won't give you a good price if it's mixed metals.
