i tried to join 4 years ago and gave up due to pending even tried the admin route to no reply then contacted Darryn lee no reply then i decided to give up and then was approved 8 months on i can see posts but cannot reply to them.

If the car is going to be black or a dark colour I reckon Elvira Mistress of the Dark would be the go.

I was also thinking about you converting to a coach, maybe stretch the doors a bit longer to match side window length, allowing better access to the rear and better symmetry, that could possibly make the doors to heavy for the hinges though. Just some ideas to add to the pot you are cooking.

Yes that is the plan.
Bring the rear corner around more and then equal length front and rear glass. Doors will be a good 6" longer.

He asked me if I was interested in buying it before it was listed. I'd only just bought the Sedan 2 weeks before and he didn't know. Prefer the Sedan anyway and paid a fraction of the price for it.

Sounds like my old 1930 Essex body. It had long windows, same glass for all four doors. Doors were heavy, more so after I'd steeled them out.
But door weight didn't matter. They had "piano" type hinges so they could take the weight. Again, all four hinges the same. Cheaper to make, and they didn't stick out like other hinges of the day. And the grille was wider at the bottom, and the chassis was wide enough to take a clevo with plenty of room.

This was the REO I owned a few years ago. It had been widened when it was rebuilt. It had been stretched when new as it was a rail service car, meaning it ran passengers from the end of the rail line to the next few towns.

It looked ok and gave a lot more room inside. The axle was terrible, Frod Transit front and rear with springs outside the chassis..Ugg. The pitman arm dragged on the spring and locked the steering when turning left, and engineer approved !!! It had an XF motor but I replaced it with a Barra on LPG and Hilux power steering fixing the pitman arm issue. Search Broadway hire cars on facebook for more pics.

Do you know how much it was widened by as the proportions look good?
