Nice looking 34!
What is the extra little bar on the heat shield below the door?
Marcus

To try where there is little hope, is to risk failure.
Not to try at all, is to guarantee it!

Hi Marcus. The side pipes are wrapped in Kevlar and have the guards over them but still get very hot. I put those little bars there to deflect your leg over the guard. Works very well but looks funny. I have some other medium that I’m going to try under the guards .

Looks great. My only comment is, the air cleaners will likely be a source of restriction. If you could get a larger diameter and possibly taller (though rego may rule that out) filter you will probably notice a difference.

Thanks Adam. At the moment they have to stay that way to get past the 11 metre visibility rule. It originally ran a large scoop but that had to go.
As it is I have a throttle stop set at 1/4 throttle and it still gets up and boogies. More than fast enough for this old bloke so I will leave it up to the owner to change things.
Thanks for the suggestion and I will definitely pass it on . :D

hotrodsteve, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be buying a Fitech port injection to go on the BB Ford in my Hudson. What's your opinion of their product? I'm the same city as their facility.
